Percy Eaglehurst Ramos, also known as simply Percy, is the creator of the famous Chilean comic character 'Pepe Antártico'. Born in Antofagasta, he settled in Santiago to study at the University. He contributed to local and provincial papers like Pollo Tejada, El Cabrito, Topaze and El Día. |

It was in La Última Hora in April 1947 that he first created 'Pepe Antártico'. The comic has been published for over 40 years in the daily La Tercera. The character has had its own magazine and television adaptation. The strip currently appears in La Cuarta. |
