H.C. van Eck was the illustrator of the Dutch book 'De Kleine Gouden Sleutel', written by M.A.M. Renes-Boldingh. The book featured the text underneath the illustrations. It was published in 1949 by Het Boekencentrum in 's Gravenhage. For Hervormd Nederland in 1954, Van Eck drew the comic 'Geef uw Gunst aan Kunst', a story for children by Tom Marin.
