Erika Engel spent most of his life in the DDR (German Democratic Republic), the communist part of Germany. She contributed to the magazine Wochenpost in 1953, where she created the adventurous comics series 'Jochens und Bambos merkwürdige Geschichte', about the dream journeys of a boy and his panda. She also made 'Die vier Freunde' in 1956. |
