Ola Ericson was the artist of the comics based on the Swedish children's book series 'Tvillingdetektiverna' in the 1970s and 1980s. Ericson drew new stories with the young detectives under the title 'Tvillingdeckarna' for comic books published by Williams and Semic, as well as a newspaper strip. He made the series 'Broknäsflickorna' ('The Girls from Broknäs') from scripts by his daughter Ylva Ericson for the girls' magazine Min Häst between 1974 and 1985.
Ericson has painted covers for other books series like 'Tre Deckare', 'Biggles' and 'Bröderna Hardy'. He has also made illustrations for Ian Fleming's 'Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang'.
