Rafael (Rafa) Estrada did a number of short stories for Toutain monthly magazines 1984, Comix Internacional, Creepy and Zona 84. His contributions started up in 1980 when his SF tale 'Flop' won the first prize in a contest for amateur artists called by the publisher. His work often involved the use of airbrush.
Shifting publishers Estrada also contributed to Rambla since 1982. In addition he was present at the second run of magazine Makoki.
