Chris Evenhuis

Chris Evenhuis is an illustrator, designer and artist of fantasy stories. While studying Environmental Science, he started working as a comic artist and illustrator on the side in 1996. Shortly before graduating, he contributed to Top Cow's 'Darkness: Resurrection'. His comic 'At Her Door' was published in the comic anthology Seasons (Sandking Studio) in 1999, and in a revised edition in 2000. He contributed a page to the Incognito chain-comic 'Het Lieve Leven'. Also for Incognito, he wrote three fantasy stories, collected in the comic book '3'. He illustrated on of these stories himself, the others were drawn by Jorg de Jong and Sjan Weijers.

Evenhuis was the principal concept artist for PC game 'The Chronicles of Spellborn' in 2005. After two years, he moved on to Triumph Studios to help define the visual style for 'Overlord II'. In addition, he returned to comic art and illustration, starting to work on a graphic novel mini-series called 'Snooze' for Editions Clair de Lune in France, with writer Kid Toussaint. His illustration work inlcude the limited edition diptych sets for publishers De Pionier and Ammar.
