Hazañas Bélicas, by Vicente Farrés

Vicenç Farrés Sensarrich was born in Igualada, and a comics fan since his early childhood. His first comics were published in the magazines Disco (1953) and Sauce (1954). He illustrated several issues of 'Celia' and 'Trovador' in 1954. Afterwards, he began contributing to series like 'Un Cuento Semanal', 'Dick Sand' (1955), 'Dalia' (1956) and '4 Rosas' (1958). He spent most of his career drawing for the French market. He drew war comics for the popular Hazañas Bélicas title, as well as its variants. During the 1960s, he also contributed to Relatos de Guerra, Espionaje and Brigada Secreta. When the Spanish comics market collapsed, he began drawing more extensively for foreign publishers. His final comics work for Spain was finishing the series 'Bruce Lee' in 1985.

Series and books by Vicenç Farrés Sensarrich in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
