Noches Ardientes (Nasti de Plasti, 1976)

Miquel Farriol studied graphic design at the Escola Massana in Barcelona, and graphic design & photography at the Escola Elisava. Between 1973 and 1976 he was settled in Eivissa, where he participated in several underground publications, including the magazine Star. He later contributed El Rrollo Enmascarado, Nasti de Plasti and other pioneering Spanish underground comix in the 1970s, which made way for El Víbora and other magazines from the end of the decade. He signed most of his work Farry or Farri, and Farry Brothers for the work he did together with his brother Josep. He has also been involved in painting.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
