Bullet Crow by Chuck Fiala

Charles "Chuck" Fiala is an American comic book artist from the Chicago area. He began his career as one of the contributors to the fanzine The Comic Reader from 1979 until the early 1980s, creating features like 'Bullet Crow' and 'Fowl of Furtune'. He also appeard in The Spirit Jam by Kitchen Sink Press, before beginning an assocation with DC Comcis in the mid 1980s. Fiala made cover illustrations, and was a penciller/inker on features like 'Bugs Bunny', 'Private Life of the Teen Titans', 'Raccoon Kids' and 'Stanley and his monster'.

By 1987 he was drawing 'Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters' and 'Bullet Crow' for Eclipse. Fiala was a scriptwriter for 'Roger Rabbit' stories published by Disney, and an artist of 'Bugs Bunny', 'Looney Tunes', 'Tiny Toon Adventures' and 'Tazmania' for Warner Bros comic books and newspaper strips. He later published his saucy comics starring 'Phantom Bunny' , a character from his 'Bullet Crow' stories, on his weblog. He is currently a web developer with Shaw Suburban Media, and has worked as advertising art department coordinator with the Daily Herald between 1994 and 2009.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
