Rob Figee

Rob Figee was born in Germany, but lived most of his life in the Netherlands. He studied at the Art Academies of Antwerp and Rotterdam. he contributed to several alternative comics publications of the 1970s, such as Joost Swarte's Modern Papier and Stripje. Among his creations are 'Sofgeensof' in Modern Papier and 'Waldo' in Stripje. He also contributed to the sole issue of Dick Maas' Formule S. His comics mainly dealt with social issues. In later years, he focused on architectural illustration.
