Xavier Fourquemin was born in Toulouse and soon moved to Paris. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Tournai, where he followed classes by Antonio Cossu. He made his debut as a comic artist in 1996, with a 4-page story in magazine Gotham. He started a cooperation with writer Dieter, and together they created titles such as 'Alban' and 'Outlaw'. Fourquemin produced the following comics by himself: "Agnus Dei', 'Sursum Corda', 'O Sancta Simplicitas' and 'Vox Dei'. |
