Billy: Demon Slayer, by Hayden Fryer

Hayden Fryer is an Australian small press artist who has created such properties as 'Less Then Sane', 'Forces', and the underground hit 'Billy: Demon Slayer'. Hayden's first published work was on the Australia comics website and has since been included in numerous and diverse anthologies. His first printed work was the 'Billy: Demon Slayer' series which debuted in April of 2002, the series which follows the adventures of a "14-year-old, chainsaw wielding, demon slaying anti-christ" ran for 5 issues until January 2004. The final issue was a double-sized depiction of Armageddon which guest-starred other Australian Characters, including 'Trevour Bovis' a talking cow from 'Greener Pastures', the creation of Tim McEwen.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
