Giacinto Gaudenzi is an Italian illustrator, advertising designer, cartoon animator and comic author. Born in Cattolica, he attended courses at the Grafica Publicitaria in Urbino, where he specialized in animation. He worked in television production in Gênes and Rome between 1963 and 1966. His first comics work appeared in 1975 in the comic books Il Mago and Sgt. Kirk. Later on, he was also present in L'Eternauta with 'Alex il Gladiatore'. Specialized in historical subjects, he has drawn for the Mondadori collections 'Storia d'Italia', 'Storia di Roma', 'Storia delle Invenzioni' and 'Storia del Mondo'. As a member of the Staff di If, he also contributed to the production of 'Bozo le Clown' for the French market.
