Flux by Geza Dirks

Geza Dirks is a comic artist and designer from Heiloo. He studied cultural anthropology and social geography, but decided to try his luck at becoming a freelance illustrator and comic artist in 1992. Starting out in a bizarre underground style, he published in psychedelic drug magazines like Highlife and Soft Secrets.

A less bizarre style was employed for comics in teenage magazines such as Primeur, Kijk, Breakout! and National Geographic Magazine ('Flux'), as well as the periodicals Onkruid and Alles-op-Tien ('Spetters'). For magazine Kijk, he created the comic 'TechnoTess', which he also self-published in book format. In 2012 he made the comic book 'De diamanten van Mudada' in commission of Stichting Vluchtelingenwerk. Besides comics, Geza makes posters, illustrations, flyers, storyboards, websites, animations and music.

Series and books by Geza in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
