Merci qui? Merci mon chien... (Pilote Mensuel 3, 1974)

Jean-Louis Goussé is a French comic artist and illustrator. He was a regular artist with Pilote magazine between 1970 and 1975, making several short stories and editorial illustrations in cooperation with writers like Jean-Marie Pélaprat and Serge De Beketchm. He also worked with Loro on the feature 'Déboires d’outre tombe' for the Pilote Super Pocket, and on the series 'Thorkaël'. In 1977 he was the artist of the comic book 'Clodomir Free', that was written by Christine Arnothy and published by Dargaud. Goussé has since made illustrations for educational books and tourist guides.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
