Zoefies Verden by Grethe & Norunn
Zofies Verden (Rutetid #3, 2012)

Grethe Nestor (b. 6 September 1968) and Norunn Blichfeldt Schjerven are a Norwegian writers and graphic designers duo. They were both educated the Westerdals advertising school. Grethe has worked as a graphic designer, music critic and freelance journalist for newspapers, journals and magazines, while Norunn is a producer and writer for magazines, television and radio.

They began their collaboration in the Summer of 2006, when they started their pop-art comic strip 'Zofies Verden' ('Zofia's World') in newspaper Dagbladet. The strip started out as a two-month fun project, but has become a full-time job. It now appears in Dagbladet on a daily base, and has also been published in Kamille, Pondus and on websites.

The illustrations are created by cutting, retouching, recoloring old comics, like John Lustig does with his 'Last Kiss' feature since 2003.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
