Atalante by Manu Grey
Atalante

Manu Grey was born in Meudon, and studied Fine Arts. Settled in Saint Brieuc, Brittany, he was also an apprentice of Jean-Claude Fournier. He self-published the fanzine Illusion with a couple of friends during his studies. He later also attended the Saint-Luc Art Institute in Brussels, Belgium. Back in France, he picked up his studies in foreign languages while drawing comics for some local fanzines. He made his professional debut as the artist of 'La Voie du Silence', a spin-off series of scriptwriter Nicolas Mitric's 'Arkeod' saga, that was published by Soleil between 2004 and 2006. From 2012 he works with Crisse on the 'Atalante' series.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
