Antonio Gutiérrez was one of the classic Mexican comic artist, who worked for the magazine Pépin. He was the artist of the popular feature 'Don Proverbio', created with writer Carlos del Paso and later Yolanda Vargas Dulché. 'Don Proverbio' got its own magazine in 1954. Gutiérrez also worked with Vargas Dulché on romantic stories in the collection Lágrimas Risas y Amor, such as 'Amor en Oriente', 'María Isabel', 'Yesenia' and 'Gabriel y Gabriela'. |
