Trevor Hairsine was one of the early contributors of Judge Dredd Megazine. There, he co-created the 'Harmony Krieg' series and produced many 'Judge Dredd' episodes and covers. He also worked on such 2000AD series as 'Holocaust 12', 'Strontium Dogs', Missionary Man', 'Judge Anderson', 'Mercy Heights', 'Downlode Tales' and 'Pulp Sci-Fi'. He has since worked mostly for Marvel Comics, often with scriptwriters Brian Michael Bendis and Warren Ellis. Among his credits are 'Captain America', 'Ultimate Six', 'X-Men: Deadly Genesis', 'Black Panther', and 'Wisdom'. He has also done designs for games like 'Magic: The Gathering'.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
