I'm Patti

Rab Hamilton, real name Alex Hamilton, was an artist for the Fleetway romance titles in the 1950s and 1960s. He drew various stories for Valentine, Marilyn, Roxy and Serenade, including serials like 'My Sister's Impossible Husband' in Marilyn (1961-64) and 'Ann and Pam' in Roxy (1962-63). He also drew the shortlived newspaper strip 'I'm Patti' for the Daily Mirror in 1959.

He became a regular in TV Century 21 with the serial 'Secret Agent 21' (1965-69), that later became 'Mr. Magnet'. He was also present in the magazine's companion title Lady Penelope with 'Marina, Girl of the Sea' (1966-67), 'The Girl from UNCLE' (1967) and 'Class Six Sterndorf' (1968). He subsequently produced one-off stories and short-run strips for papers like Sally, Joe 90, June, Countdown, Sandie and TV Action until dropping of the radar in 1973.

Series and books by Rab Hamilton in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
