J. J. Hessel

J.J. Hessel was the artist of the newspaper strip 'Bubbeltje en Knor', that appeared in the Limburger Koerier in 1942. A year later, the artist Pax Steen published the NSB propaganda tale 'Bubbeltje en Knor', that appeared in a book in 1943. The title and the characters are the same, but because of the difference in style, Hessel is presumably not a pseudonym for Steen.
