Graham Higgins is a British writer and artist. He has done cartoons for magazines, as well as comic art for DC Comics, Marvel and 2000 AD. He is known for his adaptation of two 'Discworld' novels - 'Mort' and 'Guards! Guards!'. Among his creations are 'Rex Spendor' and 'Pulp Dogs'. For many years, he has worked with Johann Kiefersauer at Honk! Studios, Berlin, doing art with the character 'Käpt'n Blaubär' for newspaper comic strips, diaries and literature for Deutsche Post, as well as animated stories and a CD-Rom game. For Punch magazine, he created 'Luke Carew, Lone Wolf Detective'.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
