Tom en Bola, by Piet Jansen

Piet Jansen was a Dutch comic artist and illustrator, who worked with writer Toon Kortooms in the 1940s and 1950s. Jansen and Kortooms were the authors of the oblong comic book 'Faaske in het land der Peelreuzen', that was published by Oost-Brabant in either 1946 or 1948. Jansen signed this comic "Obé". For the publisher De Spaarnestad, they made the comic strip 'Tom en Bola' for the final three issues of Tombola, the children's supplement of Libelle, in 1954. 'Tom en Bola' was also published in Taptoe under the title 'Billie en Buster' in 1966.

Series en boeken door Piet Jansen op voorraad in de Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
