Ingi Jensson is a comic artist from Iceland. He founded The Comik Shack, a school for comic artists, which existed from 2002 till 2004. In 2004, he moved to the city of Arnhem in The Netherlands, where he was part of the comic studio Funny Farm (with artists like Kees de Boer, Gleever and others). Ingi worked for numerous magazines and companies, both Dutch and international. In 2008 he moved to the UK, where he was shortlisted for a residency at the V&A Museum in London. On his blog, he regularly posts "medustrations": illustrated meditations.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
