Shehab Ji is an Indian comic artist. He grew up in poor conditions. He had to work as a carpenter to earn his living after his parents died and he didn't go to school until after he was ten years old. He started his artistic career with a 1/2 page cartoon, before creating his full 32 page comic series 'Chotu-Lambu' for Diamond Comics in 1958. This was followed by more creations, including 'Manglu Madari-Bandar Bihari' and the silent comics 'Chimpu' and 'Chaman Charlie'. |
