Bernard Johner was born in Casablanca in 1944. He studied art in Paris, together with Tondu and Brianchon. He was the pupil of the Spanish Master Bermejo Abenza. He drew the comic 'Njoya le Réformateur', written by Denys Ferrando-Durfort in 1989.
