Thierry Jollet was born in Tours, and now lives in Bouscat, near Bordeaux. He did his first work for the Week-end Doux association in 1990. That same year, he took an apprenticeship on Jean-Yves Raimbaud's animation series 'Manu II' in Angoulême. He continued to work in animation, cooperating on television series like 'Michel Vaillant', 'Bucky O'Hare', 'Carland Cross', 'Lil'Elvis', 'City Mouse' and 'Ripley' until 1999. Between 1993 and 1995, he contributed several short comics to the fanzine Sapristi!. He cooperated with Farid Boudjellal on the album 'Ethnik ta Mère', which was published by Soleil in 1996.
