Jeffrey Jones teached painting before he went into comics. He met Defiant Comics editor Jim Shooter at a convention, who assigned him to do the 'Dark Dominion' series. When Defiant folded, Jones continued his collaboration with Shooter at Broadway Comics. He illustrated the 'Fatale' comic for a year, before he moved to Bill Tucci's Crusade. There, he worked on such titles as 'Tomoe', the regular 'Shi' series, as well as the 'Shi: Black, White and Red' mini-series. Jones drew the 'Painkiller Jane/ Darkchylde' special at Event Comics, and then went to the Marvel knights imprint to do 'Black Widow' and 'Marvel Boy'. In 2002, he cooperated with writer Greg Rucka on the graphic novel 'Wonder Woman: The Hikketeia' at DC.
