Batman by Kelley Jones

Kelley Jones is a comic book artist from Sacramento, California. He worked with inker John Beatty and writer Doug Moench on a series of 'Batman' comics, including 'Batman: Dark Joker the Wild' and 'Batman and Dracula: Red Rain'. Jones also worked on the regular 'Batman' title from 1995 to 1998. Jones cooperated with Neil Gaiman on the 'Season of Mists' story in the 'Sandman' series.

In more recent years, Jones has worked on 'The Crusaders' for Vertigo Comics and 'Conan: The Book of Thoth' for Dark Horse. His other Dark Horse credits include 'The Hammer', 'ZombieWorld' and 'The 13th Son'.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
