Olivier Josso is a French comic artist whose work has been published in the magazines Brulos Le Zarzi, Ego Comme X, Lapin and Jade. Born in Saint Nazaire, he got his interest in comics by reading Lucky Luke, Pif Gadget and Mickey Parade in the 1970s. After graduating in plastic arts, he launched the fanzine Brulos le Zarzi together with his wife Laure Del Pino, that ran between 1991 and 1994. From 1995, Josso's work was present in Ego Comme X, Lapin, Jade and Fusée. He collected some of his autobiographical work in the album 'Douce Confusion'.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
