L'Idole dans la Bombe, by Jouvray

After his studies in applied arts, Jérôme Jouvray studied illustration at the atelier of Claude Lapointe at the Academy of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg. There, he took courses in comics, illustration and animation. Graduated in 1996, he began working on an animation project, together with his wife Anne Claire Thibault Jouvray, and Laure Nollet. He works in the television and animation field, until he did his first comics project with his college friend Denis Roland in 1998. 'Toile Cirée' was published in the collection Encrages by publisher Delcourt. At the same time, Jouvray worked as an illustrator.

La Region, by Jérôme Jouvray

From 1999, he is a member and co-founder of the independent multimedia group KCS Production, together with his brother Olivier, his wife Anne Claire and several other artists. The group specialized in multimedia, and Jouvray was occupied with the graphical part of the animated internet strip 'Supershoes'. In 2000, he cooperated with Roland again, this time on the comical trilogy 'La Région' for publisher Paquet. In 2002, he also began the comical western series 'Lincoln', with scripts by his brother and coloring by his wife, at the same publisher. In 2006, he launched 'L'Idole dans la Bombe' with scriptwriter Stéphane Presle at Futuropolis.
