Tommy Kovac has written and illustrated several different titles for Slave Labor Graphics Publishing. 'Stitch', his first series, is a spooky tale about dolls and toys. 'Skelebunnies' is about the adventures of two wacky, dead, skeletal bunnies who live in a magical forest. 'Autumn', his third series, is a dark tale of magic, tragedy, and redemption, starring a strange not-quite-human girl with frightening powers. He never had any real art training, but has been drawing and writing stories since he was a kid. He has always liked ghost stories, horror novels, and classic children's literature. He also does an independent magazine called Library Bonnet with his best friend Julie. They both work in libraries, their magazine is sort of a tribute to libraries and also a way to vent frustrations about their day jobs.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
