Krist, or like the interior pages say, Christna, was the illustrator of the Indonesian comic book 'Pak Doblang' (1977). It is easy to see where the artist got his inspiration - the main character is an almost exact replica of Dutch artist Marten Toonder's famous 'Ollie B. Bommel'. Toonder's 'Tom Puss' has been replaced in this version by a monkey. |
