Fukutsu - The Life of Hiro Onoda, soldier (Le Monde Diplomatique)
Nora Krug is a German illustrator who works in the USA as a teacher at the Parsons The New Yorker School for Design. She is an illustrator for publications like The New Yorker and The Guardian. She is a member of the Hamburg comics collective Spring. Her comics work has appeared in newspapers and magazines like Le Monde Diplomatique and Blab!. Her children's book 'My Cold Went on Vacation' was published by Penguin Putnam and her graphic novel 'Red Riding Hood Redux' was published by Bries in Belgium.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop.
However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
