Dennis Laugen was born in Brooklyn, New York. A close friend of Lou Morales, he inked some of his friend's comics for Charlton Comics in the early 1950s. These were published in titles like Crime and Justice, Lawbreakers Suspense Stories and Hot Rods and Racing Cars. He also penciled a couple of stories for Crime and Justice himself. He passed away at the age of 49 in June 1974.
