Vadim Lazarkevich was born in the region of Kiev. He learned the art profession at the St. Petersburg Art Academy, and moved to Bulgaria in 1920. He was a children's book illustrator, who also did comic-related artwork, such as the 1940s story 'Vesel Putniks Balon'. |
