Lee Wai-chun

Lee Wai-chun started her comics career with 'Miss Fa Fa' ('Miss Flowers'), after which came '13-Dot Cartoons' in 1969. This last comic became very popular, especially with female readers, and ran until 1980. Loosely based on the American Richie Rich, it was about a teenage millionaire's daughter. It is now considered as a Hong Kong "cartoon classic" and has made Lee Wai-chun one of the few well-established female manga artists.
