Sebastijan Leher was one of the youngest artists active during the Golden Age of Serbian comics, the 1930s. By the age of 17, he had already published three comics in Paja Patak (Donald Duck) magazine; 'Dzarto, junak preistorijskog doba', 'Tajanstveno ostrvo u Tihom okeanu' and 'Zitelji planete Monip'. From 1939, he was present in Mikijevo Carstvo with the series 'Dzarto', 'Sigfrid' and 'Princ Bialco'. Unlike most of his contemporaries, Lehner usually wrote his own scripts. 'Dzarto' was also printed in the French magazine Gavroche, under the title 'Sartor'. It is unknown what happened to Sebastian Lehner during World War II.
