Kaisa Leka

Kaisa Leka is a cartoonist from Porvoo, Finland. She studied comics and graphic design in the Lahti University of Applied Sciences, and her comics have been published in several Finnish magazines as well as her popular sketchbook blog. Her 2010 graphic novel 'Tour d'Europe' (2010) is a hefty book about a long cycle journey Leka and her husband undertook through Europe.

Kaisa Leka is an active blogger and posts comics depicting episodes from her own life online. Her work has been featured in many exhibitions and publications across Europe, and published in six different languages. Kaisa has been invited to speak about her work to festivals in Finland, Sweden, Russia, and France.

Series and books by Kaisa Leka in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
