Born in Lima, Carlos Lévano graduated from the art faculty of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has taken part in collective expositions of paintings from 1999. He contributed stories to La Pizarra of the Calandria Institute, and did illustrations for La Mujer de mi Vida. In 2004, he illustrated several volumes in the collection Crónicas de la Ciudad, published by the daily El Comercio. In 2006, he published his comic book 'La Mujer de un Noble' with Ediciones El Virrey.
