Linage was the artist of 'Las Desventuras de Maneco', that appeared in the 1930's in Caras y Caretas magazine. This popular feauture, about the typical Buenos Aires crook and pretender, became famous by the readers for its constant final phrase: "¡Sonaste, Maneco!" |
