Uncle Tom's Cabin, by Rolland H. Livingstone

Little is known about the American comics artist Rolland H. Livingstone. He was born in Chicago, and worked in comics during the 1930s and 1940s, initially through studios like the Harry "A" Chesler Shop and the Eisner-Iger Shop. He worked for Centaur Comics ('Freaks of Luck', 'Star Ranger'), DC/National ('Peter and Ho-Lah-An', 'The Vikings') and Fox Comics ('Buzzy', 'Samson'). Around 1943, he worked for the Classics Illustrated of Gilberton Publishers, for which he illustrated 'Uncle Tom's Cabin', 'Les Miserables' and 'Rip Van Winkle: and the Headless Horseman'.
