Jerry the Jinx (Dotty #35, June 1948)

Hal Lockwood was a comic book artist and animator. In the 1940s he did features like 'Funny Bunny', 'Harry the Hack', 'Jerry the Jinx', 'Marmaduke Monk', 'Nutty Squirrel', 'Pat and Mike' and 'Professor Penquin' for Ace Periodicals. He also drew 'Pinky' for E. R. Ross Publishing and teen and family fun features for Timely/Atlas. In the 1950s he owned the Film Media studio with Vern Henkel, making industrial film strips and industrial slides.
