Jesper Lund Madsen is a writer and artist for the Danish Disney publisher Egmont. He got his interest in Disney comics through his father, who was a Disney collector. After completing his studies and military service, Madsen learned the finer points from the comics profession from Peter Härdfeldt, also a Disney artist. He went to Barcelona for a month in 2000, where he shaped his comics style under the guidance of art director Fernando Guëll. He started out as a freelancer for Micky Maus magazine after his return in Kopenhagen.
