Chip 'n' Dale, by Larry Mayer

Larry Mayer worked for the American production of Disney comics for foreign publications since the late 1960s. He did various covers, and worked as an inker of Tony Strobl's work. He worked as a penciller on stories with characters like 'Scamp' and 'Chip 'n' Dale'. He also worked as an inker for the newspaper comics. He briefly inked Floyd Gottfredson's 'Mickey Mouse' in the 1970s. He then had a long run on Sparke Moore's 'Winnie the Pooh' daily, before he inked Pete Alvarado's daily 'Donald Duck' strip in the late 1980s. He continued working with Disney comics at Gladstone until the 1990s.

Series and books by Larry Mayer in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
