Günther Mayrhofer is a German comic artist. He drew the 'Gallenstein' series, that was written by Philipp Zippermayr and published in 7 books by Bavaria Comic Verlag between 1980 to 1983. The comical series was about an alchemist who tried to make gold. The series had a strong resemblance to 'Astérix' albums, which led to a copyright complaint from Albert Uderzo.
