Simon Pierre Mbumbo is a comic artist from Cameroon. He started drawing comics at an early age, and left school to devote himself to making comics. He founded the journal New Kids and is one of the founders of Mac BD, a Cameroon comics magazine. He has worked for satirical journal Messager Popoli, and contributed to 'A L'Ombre du Baobab', a collection of comics by African artists about education and health in Africa, for which he created the story 'Une Enfance Volée' together with Christophe N'galle Edimo. Mbumbo lives and works in France. He is the creator of the series 'Les K-libres' for Planète Jeunes, a magazine published by Bayard.
