Larbi Mechkour

Larbi Mechkour is mainly an illustrator, who works for Libération, Politis, and association magazines. He cooperated with Farid Boudjellal on 'Les Beurs', a series of short stories about immigration that was published in L'Écho des Savanes in the 1980s. The album, published by Albin Michel in 1984, won the "Best Anti-Racism Album" prize. Other comics by Mechkour are 'Sa Majesté Ramadan' (Ed. Shift) and the series 'Aziz Bricolo' (in Pif Gadget).
