Nieske van het strandpaviljoen (Tina 51, 1973)
Pierre Mens is a Dutch illustrator. Born in Bergen op Zoom, he studied graphic design at the Artibus school in Utrecht. He made the gag strip 'Nieske van het Strandpaviljoen' with writer Jan van Gelderen, that was published in girls' magazine Tina in 1973 and 1974. He also made the advertising comics 'Tim Troffel' for a folder about instant cement and 'De familie Cooper' for Cooper Jeans, both in 1974.
