Ciborg, by Ruben Meriggi

Ruben Meriggi made his comics debut in 1976 by cooperating on the 'Argón' series, written by Oesterheld and Ray Collins at the Columba publishing house. For the same publisher, he worked on series like 'Dennis Martin', 'Davide Coates' and 'Rodwin de Britania'. At the publishing house Eura, he illustrated the Oesterheld scripted 'Bull Rocket', as well as a couple of other series such as 'Almanzor' and 'Búsqueda'. At Columba, he then began the series 'Wolf' and most notably, 'Crazy Jack', which became one of the most popular Argentine series. Later on, he also produced series like 'Aar', 'Historias de Mañana', 'Ciborg' and 'Blood Town', as well as some stories with 'Conan' for Marvel.

Series and books by Rubén Meriggi in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
